Earth Hour is Saturday, March 27, turn off your lights for one hour, starting at 8:30 p.m. (local time).
Earth Hour began in 2006 in Sydney, Australia, as a way to get an entire city to help do something about climate change. It went global the very next year.
The past three years, WWF has taken the event worldwide, and this year, the international environmental organization is framing the event as a vote. You flick off the lights to vote yes for action on global warming, or you don't.
